I cried again. I believed I needed fixing for a long, long time. I'm trying to unlearn that now.

I would argue it wasn't science that got it wrong, but a biased approach to finding answers and treatments for that which does not foster compliance and adaptation to an exploitative, entrenched world order. With that said, YES! to everything else. I was a late diagnosis (47) audhd and understanding my neurology has made a huge difference. So has Qigong. When I found you in 2010 with Adrenal Insufficiency so much of that was not understanding my own needs and wiring. When I also say that Qigong saved my life, it is not hyperbole or exaggeration. I am so grateful to you, your sharing of these teachings, and your honesty. Please keep on!

Nice to see you here, Miramanni! I'm so glad that qigong is still working for you! Has it really been 15 years?!

I think you are right about the real motive. It's not that the system simply made a mistake—it's that it's designed to make us manageable, not to actually help us heal.

I might even go so far as to say that it’s part of how our corporate oligarchs keep us operating as cogs in the machine!

Hi Sifu Anthony

I found that really interesting, I am one who took SSRI and it changed me, it changed my life for the better, it was so helpful. Maybe it was placebo, I will never know.

But now I know better and I am learning/doing every day Qigong, thanks to you! Great! Thanks for all your work you put into the course. u

Be grateful you're one of the lucky ones! Only about 15% patients experience life-changing effects from SSRIs. If you got such powerful results, then it probably wasn't placebo!

Thanks, Sifu Anthony yes, side effects as well, so I was lucky. 15%, shocking.

Have a good day, hope you and Sgt Pepper are ok

Thank you for sharing this post, Sifu. The misdiagnosis, lies, and untruths told in the name of science and medicine continues to this day.

I love and admire your journey to tame and re-wire your nervous system from a state of overwhelm. I especially liked your mention of how your approach (GiGong) resolved multiple issues simultaniously, effective applying an wholistic healing and re-set.

Your story of pain and the questions you asked yourself early on: "I’d watch other people navigate life and jobs and money and think, How the fuck do they make this look so easy?" Yes! I can relate ...too much.

Thank you again. Now, if only I would consistently apply myself to reap even 0.1% of the benefits you mention.

I'm glad the post helped you, Michael. As for applying yourself, we've been lied to about that as well. For example, it's more important to develop self-compassion than self-discipline, especially if you have ADHD or autism. You need to be kind to the parts of your self that struggle to practice qigong (or another art) daily. Have you seen this article of mine?

Sifu,

The article you referenced above is eye openning. I never thought of it that way, but it makes total sense. From the Puritan ethic of shame, guilt, and blame disguised as failure and lacking self-discipline. Then the other side ofexperiencing a nervous system balance. The false things we are led to believe.

I would love for you to write the book on this topic, from a wholistic healing perspective - we need this.

Thank you.
